Definitions

In these conditions:

• “LLP” means a legal entity incorporated under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act (2000)
• “We/Us/Our” means CNG Promotions LLP trading as “YourMatchbox Speed Dating”
• “You” and “Your” mean the customer in whose name a ticket has been purchased

Terms and Conditions

“YourMatchbox Speed Dating” (“YourMatchbox”) aims to have 20 dates at each event but is unable to guarantee this quantity. However, we do guarantee a minimum of eight dates. Should you attend an event and receive less than eight dates you will be entitled to a free ticket to a future event.

In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled we will contact you by telephone. As such, you must supply a telephone number or email address to enable us to do this. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you and provide as much notice as possible. We will not accept responsibility for anyone who arrives at a cancelled event if they have not provided these details.

Refund Policy

If you give us at least seven working days notice before the event we will move you to another event free of charge or refund your ticket less an £8 administration charge. No refunds are possible with less than seven days notice. However we will move you to another event for a £5 administration fee if the notice you give us is less than seven working days and more than two working days. At any point you can send a friend of the same sex free of charge if you are unable to attend. We cannot move you to another event with less than 2 working days notice.

Email us with any requests for refunds or sending a friend in your place. Please do let us know if you cannot make it, as this can affect others. The date of any refund requests will be determined by the date we receive your email request for a refund.

By booking a YourMatchbox event you are registering your acceptance of the CNG Promotions LLP terms & conditions. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this agreement and to abide by all of the terms & conditions.

We reserve the right to invite the press to attend events and to use any images captured at events for marketing and/or publishing in the public domain (e.g. on our website, newsletter etc).

As a registered participant of one or more of our events you understand that we offer an opportunity for meeting new people but we do not guarantee successful matches. Furthermore we do not guarantee that any successful match will subsequently lead to any further involvement with that person.

We aim to give you the chance to meet other single people. We point out that we are not a matchmaking service and we do not check the personal details of people at our events. It is your responsibility to check the personal information given to you by any individual at one of our events. In following up any matches please employ the same caution that you would when meeting any new person. We reserve the right to change location and timings of events.

By registering with us you agree that neither we, nor our associates are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from partaking in our services. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with us. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort.

Our events are held at venues over which we, as associates, have no control. In the event that you suffer damages of any kind at one of our events, you agree to release us and its associates from any liability with respect thereof.
